Original language is a starting point
The language shown in the FlixFlare catalog describes the title’s original language. It does not list every dub or subtitle available on every service. A Hindi-language film and an English-language film with Hindi audio belong to different searches.
Choose the title here, then inspect the audio and subtitle menu for its viewing edition. If your preferred language is essential, do this before renting or settling down to watch.
Subtitles, captions and audio description
Subtitles usually focus on dialogue. Captions can also describe speakers, music and important sounds. Audio description is another option, providing spoken information about visual action when the service and edition support it.
Choose the type that helps you follow the story. A label saying English is not always enough to distinguish ordinary subtitles from a caption track.
Readable text on your screen
Subtitle appearance controls vary. When offered, try a slightly larger font and a contrasting background for a large television or a bright room. Check the result against both a dark and a bright scene.

When words arrive too early or too late
